Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients
2 cupDole pineapple juice2 cupsugar24 ozfresh cranberries1/2 tspginger ground1 tspcinnamon ground1/8 tspcloves ground
Steps
- Wash and pick over cranberries.
- In a saucepan bring to a boil pineapple juice and sugar, stirring to dissolve sugar.
- Add cranberries, return to a boil.
- Once half the berries are popped and the sauce feels mushy, it's done! It should take 10 to 15 minutes of cooking over medium-high heat.
- Remove from heat.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Cool completely at room temperature and then chill in refrigerator.
- Cranberry sauce will thicken as it cools.
